Definitely my favourite of the series so far! This series just keeps getting better and better. I adore the characters in all their relatable glory. And I love how the author takes the Regency comedy of manners framework and builds on it in new ways. The last book had elements of a spy thriller. This one brings in elements of a legal drama. It’s just so much fun.

The characters are so real and relatable, you just want to spend hours with them, existing in their world. What more can I say about these books? They’re pure magical escapist fun at their best.
