Me gustó cómo logra contar cosas difíciles con palabras simples, sin drama forzado. El protagonista no muestra mucho, pero eso hizo que yo sintiera más por dentro, como en silencio. Es una historia que se siente real, suave, y que te queda dando vueltas en la cabeza después de cerrar el libro.

Me gustó mucho el desarrollo del personaje principal, no entendí muy bien qué le pasó al final, pero supongo que no todo necesita explicaciones científicas

I really don't know how to start this review. This was... interesting but after finishing I don't quite know how to feel.

The premise was interesting, especially when the main character lives with alexithymia. I was very interested on how he was portrayed, and his story. In fact, the first two sections of the book, and partially the 3rd one, were great for me. I really liked how it's about coming to terms with yourself - to some extent -, learning about emotions, and making a friend - which, I do have to add, felt a bit more queer in context, but won't get into that right now. The story is great, I really like the narrative style, and I was fully invested in learning more, how Yunjae was learning more about himself, the world and the rest of the people that live in it. What is like to be a person, individually, and collectively. About solitude, and learning to live on your own while also being neurodiverse. The issue with this was the ending, specifically after the third section. 

The ending was a bit weird, in my opinion. Its shown that Yunjae improved after the traumatic event next to Gon. And that felt a bit weird to me, besides a bit too typical. I guess it was not for me. I am a bit tired of the trope. Especially when it comes to neurodiverse characters. I am tired of this whole "something-traumatic-had-to-happen-for-[insertcharacter]-to-improve". I don't know. It's just mostly a "me" issue I guess.

I might read it again in a few months and see how I feel about it then. I don't know if I am even explaining myself properly. 

I do have to say that the closing line was wonderful, leaving aside the last section and how I personally feel about it.

un historia emocionante que por momentos no es fácil de leer pero cumple su cometido: hacerte sentir.
disfruté este libro pero al finalizarlo, de alguna manera sentí que le faltó algo.

Lo leí porque Namjoon y Yoongi lo recomendaron y lo leyeron en In the Soop. Sinceramente no sabía que esperar de esta historia pero me encontré con una joya. Es un libro que toca el corazón y aunque deja una enseñanza, en ningún momento se siente forzada. Recomendaría que fuera una lectura obligatoria en los colegios.
