Ooh this one was good. I'm really into this series. 

Calla, our protagonist, has more than a couple personality flaws, but she is not your standard-issue young adult heroine unable to lift a finger to help herself, constantly selfish, and eternally virtuous. She is written so much like a real, strong, and headstrong teen with tons of responsibility (and guilt) that I find her utterly relatable. 

I pretty much was just okay with the ending - it was alright where it ended, but clearly it's a big old setup for book three, which, thankfully, I already have checked out from the library.

At the end of the day, I did like 'Wolfsbane' but my qualms about where the story may be leading dampened my enthusiasm a bit. Though I am itching to get my hands on a copy of 'Bloodrose' just to see how the story ends and ties all the threads together, I know that other readers may come away feeling less than fulfilled by this second installment. If you were a fan of 'Nightshade', however, feel free to give this one a try since 'Wolfsbane' continues the drama, the allure, the angst, and the frustration.

I didn't think I was going to like this book as much as I did. Calla has definitely grown up between the last book and this one. She still has some growing up to do now that she kind of has a new pack, and helping (view spoiler)[ the searchers  (hide spoiler)]. I can't wait until I get home tonight so I can actually keep going, and jump right into Bloodrose :)

So I really like Nightshade and this one fell a little flat for me. I loved the adventure in it, but I found this book to be kinda depressing. I know bad things happen to characters and thats ok but I felt that to many bad things happened. I found Calla to be a little annoying in this book she was very indecisive when it came to the two boys in the book, and I thought that she was unfair to them. I loved both of the boys in this story. Ren sounds like a dreamboat and I loved being able to learn more about him and where he came from!!! Shay is a total kick butt warrior and is totally in love with Calla which I thought was cute!!! I have already started to read Bloodrose the last book in the series and I am excited to see how it ends!!!

Way sadder than Nightshade but had me on edge all the time! The plot twists just kept coming and coming and some of them left my mouth gaping. Felt so bad for some characters, such tragic twists in their fates

Can't wait to read the last book in the trilogy!
