           20% in and i told myself i wasn’t gonna read the second book. but how could i not read it after that cliffhanger????

anyway, rosie posie best kid omg i love her i hope she has more scenes with either caden or hadley/willow in the next book.

This was a fantastic duet! I finished the audiobooks of both in just over 24 hours. I couldn’t stop!

I thought I had the story figured out but both had fantastic twists I didn’t see coming. I’ll definitely be reading more of Aly’s books!

Written with Regret was my first book by Aly Martinez and if this one is anything like her other books, I've been missing out! This story starts off with so many intense emotions and shocking events, that I couldn't put it down! 

This book is one that you need to only know what's in the blurb and go from there. I think the emotions and story are something you need to experience first hand and just feel. Caven and Haley both have events in their pasts that have made them who they are and let's just say not things everyone deals with daily. There lives are turned upside down and they have to find their new normal.

I will say one thing, if you like single father romances, I would definitely pick this one up. In all honesty, I would've loved a smaller jump in time at the beginning of the book. After all the emotions with what Caven deals with, I missed the part with him adjusting. I'm not saying it wasn't interesting after that, but I think that would've given me just a little bit more to add a little more connection.

Written with Regret is an emotional roller coaster. I smiled, laughed, cried, got frustrated and hoped for a happily ever after. This story doesn't slow down though. There are so many twists and turns and secrets I didn't expect, I really didn't know how it was going to end. I had a feeling that it was going to end in a cliffhanger (this is the first book in the duet) and I was right. This author definitely left us hanging!! I need the next one now.

What I loved most about this story is that this author knows how to write. They way she wrote Caven and Haley, I connected with them and felt all the emotions she was describing. I love when authors can suck me in like that. On top of that there are flashbacks in this book that give us the whole story bit by bit. This is also something I really enjoy, because in some cases the story becomes more intense when you don't have all the pieces at once. Especially in the events we read about in Written with Regret.

If you're looking for a book with all the feels, a single father, a little girl that makes you smile and a couple you want to be happy, definitely pick this one up. If I were you, I would wait until Written with You is available, because this cliffhanger makes you want more!

Written with You is such a hard book to review, because I can't get in to much details without spoiling so much of this story. Let's just say this book leaves off right where the cliffhanger in Written with Regret left us.

Aly Martinez writes these characters and this story in such a way that you just need to know more. Just like with Written with Regret, I was done with Written with You in no time. I had to know how it was going to continue and there were so many twists and turns that I did not see coming. In all honesty, a lot of books have become predictable (especially when you read a lot), but this author had me at the edge of my seat wanting to know what she was going to throw at us next.

Written with You is a book filled with so many intense, angsty, sexy moments that you just want more. Both of these characters have gone through so much and you feel they're intense emotions while reading. I always have to compliment an author when they manage that. I thought it was beautiful that something from the past and many other twisted moments brought them to where they were. Without even realizing it, I think they needed each other more than they both wanted to admit.

Aly Martinez makes you fall in love with these characters and their journey. All I can say if you haven't read the first book, is make sure you have the second one ready before you're done reading Written with Regret. You will need to continue this journey right away. On top of all the twists and turns, I also really enjoyed the lighthearted moments these characters had. There was a good balance and it was something they both deserved.

If you love epic love stories, lots of emotions, sexy moments, amazing characters, lots of twists and turns and a story you can't put down, please pick up this duet!! It's so worth it. I know this sounds really vague, but I don't want to spoil any detail of this amazing conclusion of The Regret Duet!

           I waited a lot of time to read these books but once I started I couldn’t put them down, the love story is okay but there are a lot of plot twists that make you want to keep reading...

I never thought Trent was going to be the bad guy, I think my heart is still beating fast after reading that, but I’m glad Caven got the chance of recovering his mother’s necklace and having a daughter with Willow. Despite all the tragedy they could find their HEA...

AHHHHHHH. I thought I had this book all figured out, but DAMN. That was NOT the ending I expected. 

Must start the next one NOW.
