Devyn and Natasha have been together for a long time but things change and people change.  They break up and Devyn is having a hard time coming to terms with a reality without someone she thought would always be there.  One evening in a bar, Devyn and Natasha see one another again because they're both there to support their friends musical journey and proposal.  It all becomes too much for her and that's when she meets a man who just seems to understand everything she's going through.  From there he offers her and opportunity which leads to the beginning of a multiversal journey.

Bolero #1 was a great beginning to a 5 part series so it will be amusing to see how they fit such an idea in 5 issues and if it will leave people wanting more.  The art was charming and even more so during colourful and psychedelic moments.  

I went in blind with this one.  It was amongst many on comic list I have so everything was a pleasant surprise which is why I have it 5 stars.  I enjoyed it from beginning to end.  On the other hand, if I had read the synopsis beforehand, it would be a 3.9/4 since I'd be wondering when the given information would come up and how instead of it being a twist or surprise.
