Xeni: A Marriage of Inconvenience
Reviews

giggling, blushing, kicking my feet. Rebekah Weatherspoon writes THE best romances. The perfect balance of emotional themes, silly goofy banter, and hot as f*ck romance. Xeni is a romance for the ages. Xeni and Mason's connection is palpable. Everything about it feels so right. Left me with big "me and WHO??" feelings lol

this was another audiobook that just proves that the right narrator is key. i probably would’ve rated this four stars but he made their dialogue feel so stitled. and something about the way he voiced xeni felt… robotic? overall though, it was a cute romance and i loved the way they were so open and willing to work with each other.

steamy

O.M.G THIS BOOK!!!

I really liked both Xeni and Mason and the steam was off the charts, but their actual relationship felt a bit underdeveloped and parts of this book moved a bit slow for me/dragged on. In general, I love how sex positive Weatherspoon’s books are and how so many of the MCs and characters are fat, BIPOC, and queer. I can’t wait to keep going through her backlist.

3.5 stars. How refreshing to read a romance hero that is not a musclebound god with abs of steel! (I prefer nice smooth pecs anyway!) Am really curious now to read about some of the other 'girls' (Xeni's friends) and also about Silas and Liz.
