Overall Opinion:
Who doesn't love a good old paranormal romance novel? “You Had Me At Jaguar” left me surprised as I didn't anticipate liking this a lot more than I originally expected. I had originally thought it would be filled with a cheesy plot and dull leads but the way Terry Spear was able to capture my attention with the romantic suspense, likable characters and supernatural element I am overjoyed that I gave this series a chance. Overall Terry Spear has fallen in my author must watch list and I look forward to future reads.

I can't get enough of Terry Spear of her wolf books and this one had me from page one. Nicole Grayson is a PI tracking down a suspect and she lands in Silver Town, Colorado the wolf ran town. At the ski lodge owned by Blake Wolff and his family. I love the characters in this book and I love seeing all the returning characters are great. I can't wait to read more of the series and more of the wolf books.

Valerie Chambers is a new Enforcer ut she has large shoes to fill - both her parents are Enforcers! She has a bit of a crush on an instructor on her training course but little did she know it went both ways!

Val is on the trail of a murderer and is not exactly happy when she realises that Howard and partner have been drafted in as her backup! But as the investigation unfolds she soon becames very grateful to the higher ups for allowing her to spend time with Howard. Soon their investigation goes international and it becomes apparent that two seemingly unconnected cases are actually intertwined!

Relly well crafted story, great characters and very well paced. Loved it!

When Josie was in the military as an MP, she couldn't get enough evidence to nail a thief. Smell evidence isn't exactly admissible in human courts! Now a PI back home in Colorado, she finally has a chance to nail the same slimeball. Maybe not for the original attempted theft but fraudulent life insurance scams will do!
When her partner gets taken down by altitude sickness, she lucks into the tall, hot and very wolfy Blake as a sub. He may be part owner in the hotel but he has investigator instincts and being another wolf, all the back up she'll need. He may also get his sister off her back for not solving the original attempted theft!
Blake thought opening the lodge with his family would be excitement enough. Wrong! Now he has a sexy partner and he's helping to take down the slime who tried to steal from his sister! Now, if he could only convince Josie she is also his mate!
Great read, tight plot and engaging characters. Great extension to the Silver Town World!

Southern Today Gone Tomorrow

Written by Terry Spear, one of the Queens of Werewolf Fiction (don’t know if that’s a title, but I’m giving it out now), You Had Me at Wolf follows Nicole, a retired investigate for the military (think a step above Military Police) who is a werewolf, and now a PI after retiring from the military. Her current case? To prove that a man who claims to be dead, and got the insurance money, is faking his death. The fact that she ends up needing one of the owners, Blake, as a pretend boyfriend -a nice, hot werewolf – doesn’t hurt either. But, besides protecting Nicole and helping her as much as he can, Blake really wants Nicole to stay and be his forever.

Now, even though this is a romance and shouldn’t need this, this is not intended for children.

The writing in here was reliable and very much a nice, easy read for the start of what should soon be summer. Or a nice, cozy inside read. The romance in this is out of left field and diving head first, but it was sweet and made for exactly what you though you’d be getting: a nice, cozy romance with a bit of mystery. Blake was a great character, as was Nicole, though a lot of the interactions felt a little… forced? Not between the two of them, but more with how excepting everyone working at the ski lodge was.

But, if you’re wanting an easy romance read with a side of action and mystery and werewolf, this is a good choice.
