This book was absolutely amazing, the build up the tension the way Lucy Clarke describes everything with such detail, honestly I think this was an absolutely amazing read, you get pushed in directions that would seem obvious then you are brought into a completely different direction, I feel like the way the book was written with the real bad guy there at all times with someone else so Elle doesn't suspect a thing, I absolutely loved this book.

I was honestly gripped from the beginning, you spend the whole book guessing. It was also quite chilling and I would have been so creeped out if I read this when I was home alone. Such a perfect ending and not what I expected

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. I’m not a fan of books about authors, but Elle was a relatable character, for me anyway! I loved the sections of writing where she talked about a blank page, about the writer’s block she was suffering, the pressures of deadlines etc. I found it all believable and relatable. 
I didn’t see the twist coming although I did guess who was behind it all. Great book, really enjoyed it.

This was a really strong thriller! I didn't expect the twists at all, I was constantly kept guessing. I really enjoyed reading from a writer's perspective and the setting of Cornwall where my family is from. Can't wait to read more from this author.
