I really did enjoy this book. I did have some reservations going into it at the beginning as there were some references to a master/slave sexual relationship of sorts and I didn't know where I sat on that topic. However, it remains solely a reference and doesn't really have a massive impact on the story so I was rather relieved about that!
The whole plot is fast-paced and intriguing. I did find it a little simple at times but it wasn't overly predictable either. There was a twist that I did catch on to quite early on so the reveal didn't come as much of a shock. 
The writing is decent and flows rather well. The strong point of the novel is the characters. They are well fleshed out and they do develop really well as the story moves forward. 
I love also the fact that the romance is going to be a very long slow burn and find that entirely refreshing. 
Moreover, the main characters are in their early/mid twenties and as someone in that age group I did really appreciate reading from characters that age as it's not something I come across often.
