Save My Soul Preternaturals Book 2
Save My Soul: The Preternaturals, Book 2 ... All he's asking for is her soul. That house. You know the one. It's the one that seems alive from the road with windows like eyes that watch you, the one that seems to always be for sale, the one Anna Worthington has wanted to live in since childhood. Ghost stories be damned. But the dark being that haunts this house, is something far more sinister than a ghost. Luc is an ancient incubus, trapped by a fifty-year-old curse, and Anna is a temptation too sweet for any demon, let alone a practically starved and crazy one. Will she exorcise her house and live happily ever after with her cats, or will she fall prey to a dark lover who doesn't just want her body, but her soul as well? If the demon has his way, dying will be her best case scenario. What Readers are Saying about Save My Soul: "I have not read anything previously by this author, but with one book Zoe Winters has made it to my favorite authors list. I have already purchased the first book in this series, and fully intend to buy the rest. If you enjoy paranormal romance then you can't go wrong with Zoe Winters' Preternatural Series." -Nancy Miller "Zoe Winters did it again! Just you think you have it all figured out, she introduces you to more characters that have their own story to tell! Anna & Luc will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end." - Kelly Gee "I bought this book because I really enjoyed Blood Lust, the first part of this series. This is by far the best one. It's longer than the other books and I've never read another book that had an incubus as the hero. Luc was so sweet and would cook and clean for Anna all the time. He really made me fall in love with him. I would deffinetly recommend this book to anyone who likes paranormal romance." -Karmen "Most of you know that I dislike Romances. Actually, I kind of hate them - there is too much panting and not enough plotting. Winters work is nothing like that. It has plenty of plot, great characters, and a wonderful blend of words. It is quite likely perfect for this genre. It does have a 3 out of 5 flames, indicating, I believe, how much explicit sex is included. There is some fairly graphic sex and some profanity, the latter is sparse and, to my mind, justified. The best of the best is the twist at the end of the story. It took me by surprised, which seldom happens. I must say this was a well worked plot twisted that left me saying, "Wow, I never saw that coming!" - A Book A Day Reviews "I will say, I NEVER saw the end coming. EVER! I loved the whole reading experience but the ending had me flying out my seat shouting "NO FREAKING WAY!" I loved being surprised in a book, of being delivered a story where the author has me so wrapped up looking over there, that I don't see the sneaky things she's doing in the other corner. It has me excited to go back and read the first book and any future book she releases in this series. This is DEFINITELY a book to go out a grab a copy of. Zoe Winters delivers one heck of a paranormal romance, one that still has me buzzing as I sit here and type out this review. You'll fall hopelessly in love with Luc and will be frantically trying to find a way to shove your soul into the book for him. And here's something to tempt you (because I know it tempts me) but Zoe has another swoonworthy character that was the right kind of villian - Cain *shivers* He was magnificent! Keep your eye out for her next release. Happy reading!" - The Bookish Snob "If I had enough time and I was sure people wouldn't get sick of reading what I'm writing I would go on about this book forever. First of all it's hilarious. Anna cracks me up. She is super funny and her antics with Mimi and Bitsy and her passel of hookers is so funny. I love Anna she is such a good character and she has such a great personality. She's very caring and compassionate; even to hookers (which a lot of people wouldn't be). Luc is awesome. So very, very hot. And he's humane. An incubus with humanity, who would've thunk it? The antics that these two get into make for a great read. We've got house hauntings, spells and curses, witches, gypsies, priests, and thousands year old evilness floating around. Luc and Anna have a great relationship. Very spunky and sarcastic, which I love. And you can see Anna's feelings for him growing. They don't immediately fall for each or jump into bed together. Everything that I'm looking for in a leading lady and incubus in a book. I would recommend this book to the world. It was amazing and I only wish it wasn't over." -AwesomeSauce Book Club "Save My Soul was a refreshingly different paranormal romance by the very talented Zoe Winters. This is the story of Anna Worthington who moves back to her little southern town and buys a house that she always loved. The house just happens to haunted by a gorgeous and sexy incubus. At first she fights with him and tries everything she can to break the curse that is keeping him in her house. All the while she is trying to get rid of him, she is also falling for him. I enjoyed the twist at the end. It was definately a big shock that I was not expecting. This was a sweet and sexy story that I would recommend to any lover of paranormal romance." -Krissy P. "I finished Blood Lust in less than 24 hours. I finished Save My Soul in less than 8, and I had to work that day. If you like paranormal romance, you'll love this story. The characters feel real, and even though Luc is an incubus, you empathize with him and want him to succeed in his seduction of Anna. Meanwhile, Anna rightfully has doubts and struggles with her love and desire for the demon. The romantic and sexual tension is exquisite and the ending has a fantastic twist that leaves you thinking about the story for hours (maybe days...we'll see)." - Megan Haskell "I was referred onto Zoe Winters by Amanda Hocking through her blog. I figured that I loved Amanda's books so if she loved Zoe it was worth a go. I was far from disappointed. Zoe Winters' books are amazing, my only disappointment is that I read them both in two days and am now once again searching for another fantastic author with fantastic books. Zoe Winter I am keeping an eye on you and will eagerly be awaiting your next book. Anyone out there who loves the whole paranormal thing will love these books. They are well written and the thought process is remarkable especially in this book 'Save my Soul'. I don't want to give any of it away but the ending was very clever and smart - I had no idea!! Great work, I'll be promoting your books to anyone who will listen to me." -cjamum "This all sounds like a pretty dramatic story, and that's there. But the true delight comes in the snarky wit of the characters and the sometimes madcap humor with which Winters delivers the tale. Save My Soul brings its otherworldly elements to shimmering life in a way that will delight any fan of the paranormal as Anna turns to gypsies, ghost hunters, and the Holy Catholic Church in her attempts to try to evict the incubus from her home. Before it's too late." -Susan Bischoff "The Preternaturals series is awesome. I've not been reading them in order, having read three and four before reading this one, which is book two - and I've not been lost at all. So it is entirely possible to pick these up as you go. Sure, there are tidbits of information throughout the books. Like in book four, Anna and Luc are in it, and Cain touches on their situation, but it in no way ruined the fun of this book." - Liz @ Fictional Candy The Complete Preternaturals (Paranormal Romance Series): Book 1: Blood Lust Book 2: Save My Soul Book 3: The Catalyst Book 4: Life Cycle Book 5: Forbidden Book 6: Unleash The Moon Shorts: Cat Fight Dark Mercy (Forbidden Teaser) If you enjoy Zoe Winters, here are some other authors you might also enjoy: Bella Forrest, J.R.
