this is a MM, age gap romance, with quite a few trigger warnings & some dark & disturbing themes throughout the book.

I hadn’t read this authors prior duet that is related to this story, so I will say I think reading the Dreamhaven duet first, would be beneficial going into this book.

I enjoyed this book though & the spice within. there is quite a few trigger warnings so I will say this book isn’t for everyone. it deals heavily with mental health. I appreciated it for what it is though, it feels honest.

Leo is Ollie’s “uncle”. he has been best friends with Ollie’s dad for a long time. so Leo has watched Ollie grow up. Ollie becomes obsessed with Leo & it is considerably unhealthy, but things begin to change, lines blur & things become complicated. 

this was an emotional read for me with it being heavily mental health related, but it didn’t distract from the story or the characters. it made it more.
