MJD does it again! This is yet another absolutely enjoyable installment in the Betsy series. Betsy is my queen and totally rocks! I enjoyed the diary by Mark as well as the good use of the weres. And BabyJon! OMG! You gotta read about little BabyJon!

This book had the typical Betsy stuff that I love. It had time travel thrown in and tons of cool backstory on Tina and Sinclair. Yay. Except that the whole tampering with the timeline can be annoying for some people. If you don't like that sort of thing, this is not the book for you. There's definite tampering with the timeline. 

I gave this only three stars, however, because I just did not like the outcome. It was depressing. I hope that in the next book we can get back on track and maybe fix the outcome of this book.

Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor thought she couldn't die. So what's she doing in the morgue? It could have something to do with a time-traveling trip she made, and a foe with a wicked agenda that could finally be the real death of Betsy--if she's not careful.

This book is horrible!! I have put off writing this review because I can't say anything good about this one. I was hoping after the pretty lame book that was book 9, that this one would be redeeming. It was actually worse. Not only was the story line terrible, but the writing was bad. I had to re-read a lot because I had no idea who was talking. Also, nothing new happened until the end of the book. It just seemed to repeat what happened in the last book. Why is it that Betsy remembered everything that happened last book except the part about Sinclair being "the book"? If all of that isn't bad enough, it seemed as if all Betsy did was rattle off stupid, unoriginal one-liners throughout the entire book. It got old quick. I considered dropping the Betsy series after last book, but wanted to see how this one went first. Not sure if I will read book 11. If I keep thinking that "it couldn't be any worse than the last book", then maybe I will give this series one last, last shot, since this was supposed to be the clincher!

It's been a hell of a week for Betsy Taylor. First she loses her job. Then she's killed in a freak accident only to wake up in a morgue to discover she's a vampire. Saved my day really. This book was so funny and still full of action and romance and hot men that it cannot be anything else than perfect. I loved it. It was so amazing and I loved Betsy's attitude towards everything happening to her. Also no one sane cannot say that Eric wasn't hot :) Can't wait to read the next book in the series

This series must be the funniest books I've read in a while. Even though it's filled with serious happenings, Betsy just makes everything funny and you cannot do anything else but laugh. It always brightens my day, whenever I read these books. Also I was kept in the dark about the real vampire killer until the very end even though I had my own suspicions. It truly is entertainment at its best. Eric keeps getting better and better and I truly cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Just when Betsy Taylor thinks she's adjusted to her after-life as a vampire queen, fate intervenes. It's bad enough having to view your own gravestone but now Betsy's even started seeing dead people - an assortment of demanding ghosts who are determined to make her do their bidding. Betsy also has some personal stuff to deal with - not least of which is planning her Spring - and Midnight - wedding to Sinclair. Meanwhile her half-sister is starting to display signs of inheriting her real mother's temper. And when your mother's the devil, that's cause for concern

I can't wait to read more, like I said in all my other reviews of this series, it's amazing. It's funny, but still full of action. The characters are perfect and there is always something new happening in the next book. Can't seriously wait to read the next book.

Just loved this book. It was a little bit more serious than the previous books in the series and there was a lot of action and an actual plot. I can't wait to read more about Betsy and Sinclair. This maybe the best Queen Betsy book so far.

Betsy Taylor, Vampire Queen, already has plenty on her plate. For one thing, next week is her birthday-the big 3-1 in human years, and one in undead years. (Yes, she bit the dust on her birthday last year.) On top of that, she still has wedding plans to finalize-and it's not helping that the prospective groom is avoiding anything to do with it. And then there's her decision to stop drinking blood-something she has yet to share with Eric Sinclair, her fianc-who also happens to be the vampire king... So the last thing she wants to deal with is uninvited guests, even if they happen to be the powerful European vampires who have finally come to pay their respects the week before her birthday. Some of them don't want Betsy as their Queen, and will do anything to get rid of her. As if turning thirty last year (not to mention dying) hadn't been traumatic enough. And trying to give up blood is making her really cranky...

Undead and Unpopular

These books just kinda makes me feel better when I read them. It's nothing particularly brilliant, it's more the fact that you don't have to think much when you're reding these books so there are an excellent way to relax. Also they are very quick to read which is good because I can't but them down whenever I start a new one. The only negative side in this book is the fact that it continues on from a book that is part of another series so if you haven't (like me) read the other series you're kind of lost at the beginning of this book.

Having recently lost her dad and stepmother, Betsy Sinclair (née Taylor) is adjusting to rather more than just married life. Their untimely deaths have left her and Eric as sole guardians of her little brother, Jon. Two vampire parents - albeit vampire royalty - for a decidedly human baby. Still, Betsy is more than up for the challenge. If only everyone would stop being so nervous around her, given her sudden recent burst of power. Betsy most emphatically Does Not Want To Discuss It, and for the moment, everyone is following her lead. But then the ghost of Betsy's stepmother turns up at their house. And as stubborn and insufferable as she was in life, she's even more annoying in death - especially as she regards her demise as all Betsy's fault!

This series is definitely getting more serious, book by book. I liked this one but I think too many people died in this one. Then again, it was probably necessary for the series to continue and go on as the author wants them to go. Still this series is one of my favourite ones of all times and I can't wait to read the next part

Betsy Taylor has problems that only a vampire queen/suburban wife could possibly understand...such as fifty thousand angry werewolves. That's what Betsy is facing when she takes her werewolf friend Antonia's body to Cape Cod, where the Pack resides at Wyndham Mansion. Because Antonia died in her service, Betsy is alive and well - and wracked with guilt. She has no idea if the Wyndham werewolves will welcome her with fangs or friendship. While Betsy and her husband Sinclair try to make nice, their legal ward BabyJon is freaking out every werewolf he comes in contact with. Meanwhile, Betsy's posse back at the St Paul mansion are not happy. Increasingly frantic emails alert Betsy to her half-sister's increasingly erratic behavior. Looks like the devil's daughter is coming into her own - and raising hell. All in the name of making Betsy's life easier, of course.

Ooh, this book was full of action and you can clearly see that the series is coming nearer to the end. I totally love this series and I can't wait to read the next book.

Hanya satu yang membuatnya berbeda adalah kenyataan bahwa ia menjadi seorang vampir padahal seharusnya ia mati.

Buku yang sukses ini diikuti dengan seri Betsy selanjutnya sehingga pembaca bisa terus mengikuti petualangan Betsy The Vampire Queen. After trying to kill herself numerous ways, Betsy must finally accept the truth, she is a vampire. I really enjoyed this book. The characters are great, and very funny.

First: kill Satan. Second: reorganize Hell. Sounded simple enough back then, but for Betsy Taylor, managing "down below" isn't as easy as she'd hoped - even if she is doing it with her sister, Laura, a bona-fide Antichrist. So yes, Betsy has been shirking her hellish responsibilities, but she's been just so darn busy these days. And she's not just yanking Laura's chain. There's a brand new baby drama involving a pair of uncanny (ok, terrifying) toddler twins, an upcoming birthday party that has to be planned, and, are you ready for it? Betsy's dad - once so very dead - has been spotted in downtown St. Paul. Now, despite all the chaos, Betsy's friends rally around, helping her to handle all this fire and brimstone jazz. As for Betsy's sister and dad - they have their own surprises in store for the vampire queen. And jolt by jolt, Betsy will discover that there's nothing as heartwarming as family. Yeah, like Hell. If you love Darynda Jones and Janet Evanovich, this is the rip-roaring, devilishly funny adventure for you!
