Buddha himself once said, 'Anyone who believes what I say is a fool-unless he has tried it for himself.'

I wanted to like this book but it’s really hard. It started rather well with a history of Buddhism and I was hooked. But then it kinda started leaning into this paranormal events that “really did happen”. Especially for a book that targets the western audience (as the author mentions on every page) this seems rather far fetched content choice. 

I don’t think I really learned anything worthwhile. Apart from the opinion that “Buddhism is an insurance for better next life” and some weak connections to quantum physics (quantum quackery I guess).
