Sjølv om han vaks opp midt i sjølvaste postkort-Noreg, har Are Kalvø alltid betrakta naturen med ein viss distanse. Men for nokre få år sidan kunne Are peike på ein urovekkande tendens: venane hans var i ferd med å rømme til skogs i hopetal. Tomme var pubane, stuene og stamsteda; no gjekk venene hans på ski saman i marka og lira av seg frasar som: «Det er berre i møte med naturen at me forstår kor små vi verkeleg er.» Kva i alle dagar hadde hend? Kva dreiv dei på med på hyttane sine, ute i skispora eller på skogsstiane? Og er det lov å seie til fjellgeitene av nokre vener at man synast fjellturar i grunn er oppskrytt? Jak se norský komik pokusil stát se milovníkem hor Are Kalvø vyrostl přímo uprostřed pohlednicové krajiny severozápadního Norska, na statku pod horami, za kterými lidé cestují přes půl planety. Do přírody ho to přesto nikdy netáhlo. Ovšem před pár lety mu hory začaly přebírat kamarády, až si jednoho dne uvědomil, že všichni jeho známí mají na sociálních sítích aspoň jednu fotku hor. För några år sedan började Are Kalvø att förlora sina vänner till naturen. Goda vänner, som ständigt följt med till pub och krogar för att umgås och prata skit, började plötsligt gå på tur på fjället istället och på fullt allvar lägga ut bilder av skidspår.
