I finally got my hands on this after it's been out on loan for the whole term. The voice of the wolf is not novelty if you've read some fairy tale re tellings. But funny nevertheless, I see why kids go crazy over it.

Sigh. Good little chapter book for beginning readers, but totally devoid of anything but humour. Is it my imagination or are books getting smaller and shorter every year? And chapter books becoming extensions of picture books?
It will tickle the funny bones but not really build up any reading stamina. Sigh.
