I'm so happy, its the first of June and I'm 50% through my reading challenge!!!!!!!!!!! (view spoiler)[ When you think nothing else is gonna happen in the last 20 pages and then omg everything exploded! Those people were after Cammie. And I was so scared for Abby. And my ship went cannon. (sorta) (hide spoiler)]

3 Stars This was probably my least favorite of the series. There wasn't anything wrong with it; it just felt a little repetitive. I still had fun reading it though. These are super quick and easy and just so amazing. I know I have said that a million times before but it is true. They just such a fun element to it that I can't explain. This book is also great for people who are in book slumps. They are super fun and quirky and you can easily get lost in the world of the Gallagher Girls. I still love Zach. xoxo, Bebe

“I thought about how there are two types of secrets: the kind you want to keep in, and the kind you don't dare to let out.” 3.5 stars. This was my least favorite in the series so far but this solidified my belief that all of the Gallagher Girls are in fact lesbians.

RE-READ: Sept. 08, 2017 One of the biggest aspects that this series has is female friendship, and that's something I don't see in books as often as I would've liked. You see, the idea of female friendship has been discarded and dumped in the trash, never to see the light of day. When I read this series a hundred years ago, the female friendship was normal to me. It was like common sense. But today, knowing how much of a rarity it is, I've come to appreciate it in a whole new level. The bond and the friendship that Cammie, Bex, Macey, and Liz have is admirable and inspiring. The amount of love, care, and trust that they have for each other brings me to tears. And in each book, as the series progresses, their friendship develops as well. It's so special, what these girls have. And I'm glad I was able to read about it at a young age. I learned how valuable friendship can be. Aside from that, this book is a stepping stone to the real plot. This is where the real action starts and we are finally introduced to the real, and absolutely villainous, enemies. Mysteries are introduced, and the action scenes are much much dangerous and thrilling. I loved (yet again) each and every page of it. So fast-paced and suspenseful!

I love Macy in this book. I love the close bonds that these four have. The book also starts to turn a bit darker. Sort of like how the older we get the less innocent our world turns out to be.

The book was overall enjoyable, but in my opinion it lost sight of the original premise of the series (a girl having to juggle teenage life with spy life) a little too early in the book. Another critique is that the two main events happen in the beginning and end of the book, leaving the whole body of the book without anything major happening.

This book was good, dont get me wrong but, it didnt stick out like the other books did :( but I do have to admit something, I am in love with Mr. Solomon! Holy crappers ! I love him... I thought I loved Zach in the beginning but nope, Mr. Solomon all the way! Haha even though it wasnt was good as the other two books, ill still have to say another 5 stars for this one! Only because I know that this book still was able to make me interested the whole time.

This one probably ranks slightly below the first one, in my opinion. It seems to function as a bit of an interlude between the second and fourth books, as a way to set up the main plot for the rest of the series. It's still entertaining, but you have the feeling there is more coming - a lot more. I like Abby, but she does get a bit annoying after awhile. I was so frustrated with Zach during this book. He kept turning up everywhere, with no explanation as to why and refused to give Cammie any answers, all under the guise of "protecting her". I'm getting tired of the "some information you don't want to know" schtick, and hope once the plot gains motion that will drop. If anything during this series, we know that Cammie & Co. will find out the answer soon anyway, so why continue to be mysterious about it all? I do like that we learn more about Macey in this one, though. Now we just need a book centred around Liz and we'll have the full set (I am assuming because the next book takes place in London, we'll get more of Bex's background). This book is where I left off when I last read this series, so I can't wait to get into the rest of it.
