Book #111 Read in 2016 Daughters Unto Devils by Amy Lukavics I enjoyed this author's creepy good book The Women in the Walls so I decided to try this one and was not disappointed. This was like a Little House on the Prairie ghost story. Amanda and her family move to an abandoned house which will be bigger than their original house. But the house has blood stains everywhere. Turns out bad things happened in that house....will the pattern be repeated with Amanda's family? This was a good, quick read and perfect for near Halloween. High school readers and adult readers will enjoy it.

(view spoiler)[ Ooh I love a good unreliable narrator! (hide spoiler)] This book was chilling and I really enjoyed it! After meeting Amy Lukavics at a conference, I felt like I needed to pick up everything she's ever written and I don't regret it! Daughters Unto Devils is a quick, creepy read with a little twist of historical fiction that would be fun for anyone interested in horror to read.

So creepy. Wow.

I'm trying to decide what was the downfall of this book to me. Would I have liked it more if I had read it instead of listening to the audio book? Or was it just boring? The story has a lot of potential, and some parts were great. But this was a 5 part audiobook, and I didn't find it interesting until part five.
