I love Simone St. James, so I will likely give her many stars on a regular basis. We all have authors like that. While this one wasn't my favorite of hers, it's still a great ghost story wrapped up in a family drama then topped off with a ribbon of romance.

Simone St. James is the queen when it comes to beautiful writing, creating atmosphere and characterisation. 

I loved the small town setting with all it’s characters, the ghost story and the history lessons. 

This is my third book by this author and this one took me the longest to read because it was a bit slower paced but I didn’t necessarily mind it, I’m looking forward to reading all remaining books by this author since I have enjoyed every single one I picked up yet.
