An Inquiry Into Love and Death

Oxford student Jillian arrives to settle the affairs of her uncle, a ghost hunter who died under mysterious circumstances, and becomes convinced that a ghost is telling her that her uncle was murdered, as a handsome Scotland Yard inspector arrives to help her.
