The Hedgewitch of Foxhall
Reviews

Truly a perfect witchy historical fantasy for autumn, I really loved how this book intertwined welsh folklore into such a rich, fantastical parallel of wales. Trying to understand the characters’ motives amidst the secrets they all keep from each other was so compelling, all while the world building kept me on my toes. Bonus points for multiple twists that i didn’t see coming AT ALL, not to mention the epilogue which I ADORED (I cried while reading it the first time, then re-read it 4 more times). Overall, just really enjoyed reading, perfect mix of dark moments balanced with wit & banter.
(Would definitely recommend checking out trigger warnings for this book, just in case!)

If I was rating the cover, this would easily be a 5 star book. Unfortunately, it was just an okay read. I really didn’t jibe with the writing style. The love triangle was insufferable and the MMCs were not particularly compelling.
