The end of the book snuck up on me there, but I love this book. So simple, yet eye-opening and fun! I hadn't found something to describe my relationship with the earth so closely until this. If you aren't really religious in your mind, but you still need something to describe you, give this a try. Even if you aren't a "witch", there are still some cool crafts, recipes, and tips in here.

The Green Witch is a good introductory text to a particular brand of witchcraft focusing on connections to nature. This is not about being Wicca, but about traditional and often solitary witchcraft. I would have enjoyed more imagery, but it's a clear and strong text for beginners.

Must read for beginners but you should have very clear that you don't have to follow everything from it if you don't want to, everyone's path is different. Also keep in mind even though they mention Wicca, it's about green witchcraft.

As I push towards a more naturalistic path with my thoughts, ideas, and spiritualism; I have found that The Green Witch was simple to follow and easy to understand and an amazing introduction to green witch principles. I loved that the author distinguished the difference between Wicca and the path of a green witch. As I developed in my beliefs, I noticed that the light was shining towards a more earthly path.

The Green Witch did an amazing job at putting the ground for being a green witch. There were so many explanations that were well explained and nothing was left unsaid. The sections were broken down - Seasons, Nature, Herbalism, using nature in projects and so forth. This book is definitely for anyone that is in the beginning of their green witch journey and everything is very easy to follow!
