this was such a beautiful story about a Nigerian family that went through loss and separation leading to financial hardship, the story progresses by showing how this affected the evolution of the different characters. the author creatively infused elements of the historical Yoruba culture, folklore, proverbs, and societal struggles such a perfect blend of creativity. I love it.
