I liked the overall tone of this book, and can see how easily adaptable it is to a screen version. It got pretty gory at the end, which turned me away a bit since inhale never been a big fan of outright gore.

I don't like some of the implications in this, especially with Rizzoli hating on the poor 'trophy wife down to mocking her footwear decisions. Without giving to much away, I was following the red herring to the end and was disappointed it didn't finish as I presumed it would, which was an interesting side plot.

I'm not sure if I would pick up another installment when it seems like a television series might be more enjoyable on my part, but it was a pretty interesting story and not one completely overplayed yet.
