Ughh, this book was a freaking mess I don’t want to write spoilers here, so I’m just gonna say that I’m mad at almost everything in this book, mainly our two main characters. I'm quite disappointed as I thought the second book would be a bit more enjoyable than the first.

Not me beta reading this and procrastinating my review lol. 

I had the opportunity to beta read ARF in January and now, a couple of weeks later, I'm still a mess over this book. The fact this is only CE Ricci's second book and it's this *chef kiss* astounds me. If I thought I loved Rain and River in book 1, I'm completely obsessed with them in this one. 

I went on a whole rollercoaster of emotions while reading this book. I kept notes when I was reading and you can see the point where I was just completely sucked in. My notes come to a stop and then there's just one at the end where I'm like "well that was a RIDE". 

The character arc for River had me sobbing and wishing I could fix everything for him, but at the end, his character growth was beautiful and I can see why he had to go through all of that. Rain infuriated me sometimes because I just wanted him to be selfish for once and just be with River. I completely love them both and I'm kinda sad that we have to leave...but not that sad cause I can't wait for my love, Taylor lol. 

I do think I'm in the minority when I say that I loved Roman lol. Roman is a whole other issue and all I can say is that I seriously can't wait for his book and to see everyone's reactions.
