Loved the book.....the ending not so much.

DO NOT start reading this book before you read the others. I say this because this novel ties in so much of what has been going on before, and if you don't have any clue what some of it might be, you are missing out on a TON. That being said, this is probably one of the best novels out of the series. It's going to make you mad. It's going to stun you. I read most of the novel while in a perpetual state of slack-jaw. I guarantee, though, that it is worth your while. Jim Butcher has raised my eyebrows a couple of times; there have been moments when I've finished one of his novels and thought to myself, "I dunno, Jim. I'm not sure how you can fix this, or how you can make it work." However, has he ever let us down? Those of us who've been following him and Harry through the last eight years of the latter's wizarding career? No. Even when we get a little antsy about something, Jim has made it work. So yes. You're going to finish this book, put it down, and go, "WTF?" Because, let's be honest: the title pretty much guarantees it. But don't go all nerd-rage on it. Shove the damn thing under your pillow and sleep on it for a bit. Digest it. Trust in the author. He's not doing things to screw with us. He's doing it to make the ultimate victory for Harry Dresden - whether it's the next book, or five books, or ten books from now - that much sweeter.
