Engineering Theories of Software Construction

This volume contains lectures presented at the 21st International Summer School on Engineering Theories of Software Construction (Marktoberdorf, Germany July/August 2000). Eleven contributions from professionals in industry and academia trace the path from the scientific foundations of programming theory through the development of toolsets and methods and on to practical application by working engineers.
