This was just “okay” for me. I typically enjoy Cheryl Strayed stories but this one didn’t read the same for me as it seems to have touched others. To me, it felt like talking to an old friend who gave a child up for adoption and just hearing about it years later. No emotion, just facts.

This story was moving and touching and defiantly affected me more than I thought it would. I think this story will stick with me for months to come, despite taking less than an hour to finish. Beautiful and deeply moving.
