Listened to the audiobook during a long car ride. Started out great but kind of fizzled. It almost felt like the first half was more for parents and the second half for kids, so of course I liked it less toward the end as the plot seemed to get lamer and lamer. Interested in it bc my stepson only reads fantasy books and this at least connects to real life. The main character's self-deprecating humor is the best part.
