Really lightweight story about Ashley and her attempts to get to Seattle to be with her mother for Christmas. First book of Debbie's that I haven't really enjoyed....

Too Cheesy for my taste

Very enjoyable holiday fluff.

Do you want a silly Christmas book with a little bit of fun romance and a lot of laughs? Then you want this book! I loved it for it's niche. It won't win awards for brilliant writing, but it wss a fun listen for the holiday season. I think seasonal books can get some slack in quality, and it seems Macomber releases a new Christmas themed book quite often for the season.

The book is about Ashley who is trying to get home for Christmas and then bumps into Dash who is trying to go to the same destination for a job interview. They both end up sharing a rental car since the flights are booked and it boiled down to one rental car left and so their adventure begins. This book is super cute, enemies to lovers, and insta-lovey!! I'm not big on insta-love but since this is a holiday read I feel it is okay to let it slide. This is heartwarming, cute, and puts you in the holiday romance mood with a perfect happy ending. If you want something to cheer you up, quick romance, and something light-hearted this is the book to pick up.
