i think if you treat this as self-help/personal growth book instead of poetry it’s quite comforting (if you treat it as poetry however then its just another rupi kaur millenial instagram poetry offspring) . theres some pages that resonated deeply with me and can be really nice to leaf through for some guidance/helpful reminders. thats how i went into this and found certain pages very healing and nurturing. however it is pretty repetitive and am personally not a massive fan of this structure. but yeah overall good pick to pick up on a bad day !
