The death of the heart

 This book is about a young girl who feels emotionally detached and tries to pave her path in the world of adults. She learns how there are people who are mainly focused on work, witnesses false narratives for a relationship, obsession leading to heartbreak, and new bonds made over time. It does portray change that comes within nature. The climax and the ending was very underwhelming for me; it may have been the point but I personally wasn't a fan of it. There would be people who would like it, I couldn't unfortunately. The book has certainly delivered its plot with great execution, but I would've prefered if the book was longer so I could connect with the characters more and explore this deeply emotional topic which almost everyone has been through at a certain point in their lives.
