Well that's just a god damn good book with an even better message. And I'm seeing reviews based entirely on the authors personal life, which I don't think matters to the quality of the actual book. Boycotting the book is fine but editing your review after learning about the authors personal issues, seems weird and unnecessary. I'd prefer to read honest book reviews here and not reviews edited based on how you personally feel about the author. A terrible person can write a good book, doesn't make you a terrible person for enjoying that book.
Enough good has been said about this book. I liked the imagery it paints, and the message. Compared especially to The Fifth Science, which is a collection of short stories connected loosely into a single universe and timeline, this book felt too long. Something about the second half felt protracted. Might be the lack of action. Overall, great book - I highly recommend it. The tongue in cheek outro left me smiling.
