I would give it 3.5. Agree very much with what was presented - but what’s the alternative! What’s the imagined sexual liberation. would love to have that detailed further. also, interviews with women who ARENT “FCP”s. too selective w the interviewing. I fuck with u though ariel levy. queen

Phenomenal. Every woman a should read this book!

Almost completely made up of confused, contradictory dogshit. Annoying, repetitive. overly simplistic, scathing, cunty, pearl-clutching busybody, waffles on about how sex is wrong if it ain't done the way she approves of; for a while there I forgot that this was by a feminist and thought I was reading something from the Bush administration's junior anti-sex league...I mean, the abstinence-only purity-pledgers who got real popular in the 90's. But then progressivism isn't liberalism, so tone & morality policing shouldn't come as any surprise to the reader. Even worse is that I listened to this on Audible and the woman reading it was such a snarky cow, I had to keep turning it off and coming back to it. I can't remember her name and don't care about her enough to go find out, but she sounded like some Puritan school ma'am. She's the kind of person who if I met her in person, I would have to walk off abruptly while she was talking, to stop myself from trying to drown her face-down in her soup, or remove the temptation to push her into a canal. She evokes that much anger in me. Avoid.
