Meu Deus, nem sei por onde começar... Decidi acabar de ler esta saga e devia ter ficado pelo 3º livro, porque este foi escrito completamente a pressa sem necessidade nenhuma. Primeiro, a personagem pricipal perdeu-se na sua vida, tipo ela tem uma guerra para liderar e em vez disso está obsecada com o namorado... A sério?

Senti que metade do livro, foi uma seca enquanto outra metade demasiado rápida, ficando sem perceber muito bem onde e quando é que o livro tinha mudado e que rumo estava a ter. Outra coisa que me encomodou foi aparecimento de personagens que tinham imenso potencial para envolverem-se na história, em vez disso, foram despachadas em dois capítulos! Achei que o vilão foi óbvio e que havia muitos buracos na história...

Julgo que isso aconteceu porque a escritora fizesse tudo à pressa e em vez de explorar mais a história justificou-se sempre com o mesmo argumento para tudo "ah e tal, cenas demoníacas, porque sim, porque não me apetece explicar mais". 

Desiludiu-me imenso, porque realmente estava a espera de algo mais, pois a história tinha imenso potencial.

So, after my last status update, I went upstairs to my room sat on bed and told myself, "Monica, you must sit here and read this book for at least an hour, no getting up to get water, no bathroom breaks, no nothing." In that hour, this book finally managed to suck me in, and it's ending gave me closure. overall, a decent ending to an AMAZING series.

Okay, in that last hour, it was like BAM! one shocking revelation after another. It was like:
"What?Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait a minute? Did that just happen? NOOOO, I liked him!"
"ShutUp! Really? Daaang, I should've seen that coming!"
"Okay, I saw that coming from a million miles away."
"What? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I really LIKED him!"
"NO. *sobbing* No. Why? Why did that just have to happen?"
"AWW. That's so sweet, and like, romantic and stuff."

that was me, TALKING TO MYSELF, for a whole hour.

It's very engaging due to the action scenes. And it really touches the heart because of Patch and Nora's invincible love. The writing was standard. The whole outcome was satisfactory. The copy I got wasn't adequate but it did not hinder me (although, it did a little bit) from appreciating this novel.
I loved the ending the most. I laughed.

I guess by gaining feeling in his body, he could finally feel down there as well. Glad to know Patch could finally muster a boner. For Nora's sake. Three cheers to the both of 'em!

This was a great way to close out a series. There were a few hiccups in this book around the middle that were a bit annoying (*cough cough* Nora's raging jealousy) but over all it was fantastic! I'll miss Patch most of all.

           Time was up. Either we got the feathers–Or the Nephilim race would lose more than the war. They'd be in bondage to fallen angels for eternity.

Following the events from Silence, Nora Grey has to adjust to her new life as a Nephil and the heir to the Black Hand. After swearing an oath to Hank Green, Nora is now the leader of the Nephilim army and will have to figure out how to free all Nephilim from being used as a vassal during Cheshvan. 


  Trust. Betrayal. Fear.


I felt as though this book had too many plot twists. Usually, the author writes details throughout the entirety of the book that leads up to one BIG plot twist, but with this book, there was a plot twist every few chapters. I would be lying if I said I wasn't shocked at these plot twists, but I felt as though they were too often. 

I suppose the last plot twist was the most anticipated one. A lot of readers are here for Patch, so when we watch the scenes unfold and find out he was sent to hell forever, I'm sure that was the last thing we wanted and/or expected. 

Now, I've never experienced love before so I have no idea how it feels, but Nora was so dramatic when it came to Patch that I had to stop and sit for a minute every time she said she couldn't live without him. Queen, you met less than a year ago... 

But I know if I was put in this position with Sirius Black, I would feel the same way.

I found the training sessions with Dante to be quite boring and useless to the story, but as I think about it, it was to convince the readers that he could be trusted. When I got to the cemetery scene, I just knew it was going to be Dante. Someone we all trusted. 

When we got to the war scene, I was honestly very stressed. We had just found out Vee was also Nephil. Which, in my opinion, was very unnecessary. But I still didn't want anything to happen to her. But then Scott made a beautiful sacrifice for Nora. WE LOVE YOU SCOTT!! 

And then we find out Patch is alive!!! YIPPEE!! 

Detective Basil told Nora to cut her arm and I was like?? But then Nora and Patch made an oath to each other and mix their blood and guess what... PATCH CAN FEEL! Now they can kiss and hug and do all the other things teens do and it won't be one-sided. 

In the Epilogue, we see Vee getting married and being happy. But what killed me was: 
"Your mom told me Marcie died a couple months ago."

  "She lived longer than anyone expected."


HELP?!?!?! THAT MADE ME LAUGH...

It's over, the end of a wonderful story. And Finale was the best of the series in my opinion. 
This book had more action throughout, more twists and turns (or at least better ones) and much more Patch which was a plus. 
The ending was perfect and this book was the perfect finale for Hush, Hush. 
I highly recommend it for those who have been reading this series, it won't disappoint!

Finale, the epic conclusion to the Hush, Hush series is finally here! Yay!!

With Nora being the nephilim leader and Patch as sexy as ever, us fans must read to the end of this series. The best part of this series is perhaps the minor characters. I love Vee and Scott with all my heart <3 They are so funny and can lift up my spirit any time something too serious happens. This book doesn't disappoint either as we get really occupied with the various things that are happening to work together to tie a nice ending.

While things did happen, I feel like we didn't get enough omg and *gasp* moments. I felt like if there were some twists, it would make this book all the more memorable. Like even after a week, my memory is starting to get fuzzy on what happened.

I felt like the ending is satisfying but not quite breath-taking or anything like that. P. S. Epilogue = the best chapter ever :)

OH MY GOD SO GOOD!! What a fantastic final book. So many unexpected plot twists. I definitely did not see any of them coming. I loved this series right from the beginning and I thought it was a fantastic ending to the series. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I just have to say that, regardless of what other reviews here may say, I'm actually satisfied with this ending.

I do have to say, though, that Patch seemed waaaay "softer" in this book and that makes me a bit sad, because I liked him best when he was darker, I suppose.

Apart from that, I enjoyed the plot twists, even if I saw some of those coming a mile away, and I like that it all worked out for the best in the end and that makes me happy.

Look, this book is absolute shit. But it's my shitty novel. Will I ever recommend this to anyone? No. Are Nora and Patch in a toxic relationship? Yes. Do I love the garbage fire that is their relationship? Yes. Is Patch a possessive dick? Yes. Is Nora overly jealous at all times? Yes. Do they need couples therapy? Absolutely. Do I recommend anyone to follow relationships pictured in this book? No. Is there slut-shaming? Body-shaming? Yes. Do I have any reason to like this book? No. Do I? Yes. 

Honestly, I Need better taste in books.

Esta historia se quedara conmigo durante mucho tiempo y eso es lo que más me gusta de un libro, que sea capaz de hacerme llorar como una Magdalena y hacerme reir como una niña.

Pero sobre todo esta historia se quedara conmigo por encontrar una relación como la de Nora y Patch, por destruir toda posibilidad de salir con alguien y no esperar que sea Patch.

aww no more Patch and Nora :( I hate when series end it's so saad. But this one had a nice ending even though something happened I didn't like at all. The ending was a nice touch although I would have liked more.

well. his series was.... okay. the storyline was good mostly, but it was just so frustrating to read, you know. nora had her diva moments, her mother had the thickest skull and marcie oh don't get me started on marcie. 

the reason this didn't get more than 3 stars is because there were so many clicheé cringe-worthy parts and sentences. 

“I love you, patch! I love you so much!” she cries after he wakes up after she thought he was dead. 

“don't let me go. don't ever let me go.” she sobs onto him.

I don't know man but this just ain't for me. 

but over all it was an enjoyable series. addicting, for sure. (mostly because of patch)

Refresher (WARNING contains Books 1-3 SPOILERS!!!)

So as you all know (or SHOULD since this is a review of the fourth and final book) is that it’s about Nora Grey. She’s part Nephilim, which means she is the daughter of a Nephilim and a human, which means she’s the grandkid of a human and a fallen angel. Fallen Angels take control over Nephilim bodies during the month known as Cheshvan. So the two hate each other forever and ever. If a fallen angel kills a female descendent of their Nephilim host, the immortal host will die and the fallen angel will become human.

Nora is smitten with Patch (Jev) who is a fallen angel, saves her life in book one, and becomes her guardian angel. Gets involved with Nora’s mortal nemesis Marcie in book2 while the mysterious Black Hand threatens Nora’s life, and the issue of Nora’s father’s murderer. Nora also encounters childhood friend ‘scotty the hotty’ (Scott) who turns out to be nephilim. Book 2 ends, Rixon is the murderer and also tries to kill Nora, Patch and Nora are back together, Vee the bff is witty as usual, and dunDunDUN Marcie’s dad is Nora’s biological father. Book 3 has Nora losing her memories and restarting her relationship with Jev (frickin’ adorable) and she spends the book recovering from being kidnapped by Hank! So end of book three was pretty intense and leaves the reader wondering what Nora will do now that she’s head of Hank’s Nephilim army! An Army that’s set on destroying their captors, destroying the fallen angels- destroying Patch.

My Thoughts: Let me just say that Scott was perfect. I loved him throughout this series, though I was TOTALLY rooting for Patch as far as being with Nora goes. Books 2 and 3 were nowhere near as good as 1 and 4 (as far as I’m concerned) and this last book made getting through 2&3 worth it for me. Throughout the series Nora hasn’t been very smart. Book smart, maybe, but not street/boy smart. This book was no exception. She knew that devilscraft was bad for her, but the way it heightened her abilities and made her almost as strong as a normal Nephilim got her addicted to the stuff. DUMB. She’s also still really paranoid about losing Patch to another girl. Seriously?!?!?! After all you two have been through, you can’t trust him by now??!!?!!!???!? 

However, this book made reading the whole series worth it! Oh my god! There are always these unexpected plot twists and betrayals from the people I least expect (such as Rixon in book 2). The second Vee said she had a secret it was pretty obvious what it was, but at the same time I didn’t want it to be true. With everything going on it should’ve been apparent much sooner, and Nora’s heightened abilities in book 4 would’ve picked up on it. Her secret just seemed forced and didn’t seem to fit in with the book. Another thing I didn’t like is that Vee is normally a witty, loud-mouthed, strong-willed girl. And after Rixon, she swore off boys, but the second Vee sees this one guy she falls head over heels for him! I mean, they DO make an adorable couple and I totally shipped them, but still……


I honestly thought Marcie wasn't going to be the important in this book.... She’s annoying, self-centered, and honestly really bitchy. She wants to know who her father’s murderer is (that would be Nora) and decides to move- in with Nora and Nora’s mom! Geez, Mrs. Grey is too much of a push-over. So Marcie lives with Nora, gets some sister bonding and investigating done, and Marcie screws up so important plans…. Let’s just say that boy was I wrong about her being unimportant.

Nora shapes up and gained my respect towards the end, but the end was still heart-breaking ;( And Detective Basso's real identity? Geeez I didn't even THINK to consider something was up with him. Vee was sassy and hilariously witty throughout as usual :D Patch was frickin' sexy as HELL, thank god for that. Scott is still my favorite <3 There was a cute epilogue with Vee at the end which I thought was a bit too cheesy and overdone, but since she's not actually IN the ending of the book- the epilogue was definitely necessary, though Vee’s marriage wasn’t exactly acceptable in the eyes of Nikki the fangirl…. 

All in all, the Nephilim vs Fallen Angel tension was great. Having Nora lead the Black Hand's Army against the Fallen Angels, yet needing to quell Nephilim rebellion to appease the Archangels.... Intense. Loved Vee <3 Loved Nora and Patch's relationship <3 Loved this book <3

It was the first time I read the books of the Hush Hush series in high school. My favorite books in the category it belongs to. Nora's personality, the charm of Patch, and the attraction between them captivate you through the book. During the pandemic period, I wanted to reread the books of the series and years later I read the books with the same pleasure. Thank you Becca Fitzpatrick for writing such a beautiful book.
