Solid 4 ⭐️. Thoroughly enjoyed this. I cackled out loud at the many shenanigans of Ellen. This utterly British but universally understandable story reads like a proper execution of “the mum diaries”. As I am not yet a mom myself, I am sure I’ll enjoy this even more once/if I do get there. It’s no literary masterpiece but I sure enjoyed myself. Pick this up if you’re in for a British honest memoir-like female rage outing. Of course recommended alongside a tall glass of wine (or gin if needed; for example in the presence of in-laws).
