William Shakespeare's the Force Doth Awaken Star Wars Part the Seventh
Reviews

Didn't like it as much as the others, but still hilarious and a fantastically performed audiobook.

It lacked a bit of the magic of the original three. I'm not sure if it's because of the themed Poe lines or some of the other things Doescher squeezed in there, but it wasn't as good. I think part of it was BB-8 noises. It makes it harder to become entranced when you have a lot of noises to skim. I also don't understand why he didn't handle Chewbacca like R2-D2 and have Enlgish to the reader instead of footnotes. I really don't like footnotes. I definitely didn't hate it, read it in maybe 3 or 4 hours and didn't want to stop until it was finished! Glad I saw it in the Library system on a random search for something unrelated. It made my night!

I like this for the work Ian does in adapting Star Wars to the wonderful world of Shakespeare. What choices Disney has made in terms of Star Wars, however...
