loved it and happy to start new year with this heart warming stories
It was a lovely book. I bought it when I visited Arter’s bookshop. I really like some of the essays while a few of them were quite boring. I highly recommend the book though if you like to read personal essays, memoirs and narratives. Essays are mostly compiled around relationships with significant others and family, foods, and kitchen.

There's no story to this essay; no moral either. Only a sort of plea to please notice the things about the people you love; only to please notice that you love them; only to please notice the small things that make up a life because they make up a life; and to enjoy them, while we have time.
“i love you. i want us both to eat well”
There is something about the kitchen that invites intimacy. I suppose kitchens are a space for intimacy because I will touch with my hands the things that will go in your mouth; I will taste what you taste; I will work for you, or you will work for me. I will make this for you because I love you, because you need it, because you want it.
