I, Solene Clemente was a typical Civil Engineering student who struggled with my studies. Kung puwede ngang i-bake na lang ang napakaraming itlog sa test papers ko, ginawa ko na. At a young age, I experienced the harsh realities of life-poverty, abuse, and a broken family. But as someone who could see the bright side of everything, I knew I could make it with only my mother and best friend, Duke Laurence Sanders, whom I secretly loved. Kahit pa naghihirap, basta kasama ko ang aking ina, kakayanin ko. Kahit pa madalas na hindi ko maintindihan ang lessons, okay lang kasi may Duke naman na tuturuan ako. Na kahit gaano kalupit ang tadhana, patuloy akong lumalaban sa buhay dahil may dalawag taong sumusuporta at nagmamahal sa akin. I became too dependent on the love they could offer. But little did I know, like the sun I adored, I was destined to be alone.

owkayyy first of all, i really really reaaaally love this book kasi short story time, it's been what 2? 3 years? or 1 year? since the last time na nagbasa ako ang book anddddd this is the first book na nabasa ko ulit ang nabalik ako sa pagbabasa. yk ilang beses ako nag attempt mag basa ng story lalo na to ilang beses ko tinry pero wala talaga akong motivation pero one day ayun tinutuloy ko hanggang sa nagulat nalang ako, tapos ko na siya !! so hapi hapi :DD eneweys, regarding sa story naman, i love it pero it js don't give me the thing that i want that time. I want something kilig thingy kasi like katulad nung book two, pero overall, iz really goooood story. I lauvette so so much GOW. ( 3.5 lang kasi di ko bet si duke sofer nakakainis siya )

The only inksteady's work I've read. This book ruined me, I think I will forever hate Duke. Will be better if they did not end up together because Solene deserves better after all she'd been through. She could've grow on her own. The ending ain't it. BUT technically the story-telling was good, like I felt all the kind of emotions so will still giving this 4 star.
