Using this as my review for the series as a whole.
Sonder. A hundred-thousand words to define a single term. As reductionary as that review seems, it's the most accurate and succinct I can provide. The Expanse offers the richest cast of characters I've seen, in possibly any genre. For a series with some crazy alien shit going, it still provides such an accurate portrayal of humanity. 100% worth investing a year+ into reading, would reccomend to anyone.

For fans of the novels. These short stories, most of which I read earlier and recall vividly, are enhanced by the authors notes that follow each recording. I would have liked even more notes and insights from the creators.
