highlights the US justice system which Phils doesnt adopt. Gave me a mini lec on tobaccos and juries. Add ons sup. Total, great.

Although not quite as good as The Firm, still an entertaining, page-turner that was satisfying. It also is somewhat educational regarding the tobacco industry.

This is like the third Grisham book i read (first in original language) and i can say for sure that i love this man!!
I spent an awfully amount of time on the first chapters, and I felt the beggining of a mini subplot kinda boring (till ✨️things happened✨️), that's the only reason i scrapped out half a star from this masterpiece. I was not sure what would happen next, it thing were going to end well, and i loved every second of that.

I liked this! It was a unique story to me, but I think there was a little bit too much going on in it. A few too many plotlines with too many people throwing money around. I think it might make a better movie due to some of the confusion I had while making it through the book, but some of it might be a result of listening to the audio book.
