Wow. 
I learned a lot from this book, as the apartheid wasn't something a lot of my teachers spent a lot of time on in school. At times I had to remind myself that it was a memoir - a true story - just because what Mark went through was incredibly hard to read. I wish there was like an epilogue, or a "where are they now", because I want to know what happened after he arrived at America, and how the rest of his family survived. Overall, such an amazing memoir, and I definitely learned a lot!
