5⭐️! I finished it in 3 days. Fastest I have ever finished a book.  First book in my summerween books that I plan on reading this summer. Summer slasher/ American Horror Story vibes. So many plot twists!

I could not expect a better book for this summer !!
It is a quick read fast paced book that you will not want to out down. The main character is a poc and is gay which is already a top for me (the author is known for her other work with queer poc but i did not read any yet). I clearly did not expect the twist and i did not (entirely) expect the end either.

If you are looking for a book to read this summer or to put you in the spooktober mood I would say this book is perfect for it !

God, say what you want about this book but you cannot say it was predictable. At no point in the book did I know where it was going AT ALL. I was hooked from the very start and flew through it.

You go into the book thinking it’s going to be a ‘normal’ slasher but it isn’t whatsoever. I think my jaw was permanently hanging open for the entirety of the second half.

Fast-paced, gory horror novel about cults and serial killers, in a way it is a very fast read, but the twist at the end is what makes the story all the more sinister.

Smooth writing, strong characters, good injection of humor, and an homage to slasher and cult stories alike.

It was a fun read, I kind of like messed up stories. It got me a little bit spooked sometimes.
