určitě jsem to nečetla naposledy! Karel Čapek je fakt génius

Zapanjujuće dobro

This play is pre-Asimov and is the first time the word "robot" was ever used, so that's its big claim to fame. In short, the play is about mass produced robots eventually rising up in revolt. There are interesting philosophical thoughts to ponder over, and I thought the religious symbolism in the play was compelling. Some things about the book haven't aged well, such as interactions between opposite genders, but of course, it was a different time period back then. It's a quick read (less than 100 pages for the version I have). Mary Shelley's Frankenstein definitely had an influence on his writing. I'm a big sci-fi fan, so it was a must-read for me. The plot was engaging. I recommend giving it a read.
