I liked it... but it wasn't as amazing as I had thought it was going to be. For me, it was one of those so-so books, the ones that you like, but you don't like at the same time. The character development is lacking a bit, and it was much too fast-paced for my liking. The concept is truly something worth reading about, but I wish that it was better executed. I understand that this is a prequel, so I might be reading more of the series, if only to see if it does indeed get better.
