Kompetenzen im höheren Lebensalter Ergebnisse der Studie "Competencies in Later Life" (CiLL)
The volume presents the findings of the study "Competences in Later Life" (CiLL), which examines the routine competences of older people. The results complement the international competence survey PIAAC of the OECD. The study enters into two entirely new areas of examination: It looks at the routine competences of 66 to 80-year-olds and analyses the resulting data for written, basic mathematical and technology-based competences in view of the requirements and needs at that age. The volume offers information about methods and findings of the study and introduces considerations regarding the transfer of these findings to adult education practises. The current data, analyses and qualitative case descriptions offer new findings for use in research and practise, but also in politics and administration.
