Instead of the domestic diva, Sophie should be called Desperate diva with a capital 'D.'

I'd say about 75% of the book is her complaining about Craig, who admittedly is a creep and had abusive tendencies that Hannah ignored, fighting with Natasha but in a passive aggressive, doormat way, and pining for Wolf. Seriously, if I have to hear her mother push her towards Max or call her shabby one more time I'll just throw my kindle. (onto pillows of course)

What kills me is that the murder mystery itself is actually intriguing for the last 20 or so pages. It's not just someone killed someone because. The rest of the book, from pacing to tone and lack of character depth makes it so hard to enjoy the mystery. I kind of pegged the murderers, but not in a way that made sense with clues. It was more luck than anything, and by the end I was hoping it was over.

This got two stars for the originality of the murder case. If you don't like to hear bickering women, then steer clear of this series! Man everyone is so catty and childish for being at lead 30 years old!
