In Luke's Revenge we have such a powerful story here that was truly magnificent. I am just going to do a review for the trilogy as a whole in this one. So in the first two books we basically have a set up, where our hero, Luke aka Lucifer, and then our heroine Ana. Luke and Ana had a instant love affair, where there was a strong relationship to the point where it came close to engagement. But then when her brother turned bad, Luke had to make a difficult choice and had to kill him. But that choice tore their relationship apart. Now its been years later, and they have all been put on a hitlist and as Luke and Ana work together with the Walker Security team to stay alive and defeat their enemies, they end up reforging their relationship and learning to heal from old wounds. We get some solid secret reveals and we also see Luke and Ana really hash out the issues in their relationship and why it didn't work out for them in the first place. I really enjoyed this trilogy so much, not my favorite from this author, but such a solid one and it really was so engaging. I loved that aspect of it as well. We also see how well Luke and Ana fit together, especially as they have grown from their past mistakes and learned to really rely on each other and have a certain kind of trust that is invaluable. I really admired the way that these two stuck together. It was really tough to see all the trauma and grief that they needed to learn to overcome as they have had so much pain together but through them in a forced proximity situation they were forced to deal with their issues and learn to heal together. This trilogy was simply super and I had so much fun with this pairing. I am looking forward to the next pairing from this author!
