"Ready or not here we come" I said, grabbing his hand, both of us stepping through the doors like we did both things-- together.

All I can imagine is that Snow White battle scene from Shrek "aaaAAAAAHHHHH AH!!!!!!"🤣

Mama Ami, arms wide, send a flock of pigeons searching towards Eva.

"I want to hold your heart in my hands, whelp" 

"I didn't know you cared, dad. You've been practicing that line in prison?"

he growled and I gave him an air kiss and a saucy wink, because fuck that guy.

OMG I'M LAUGHING SO HARD. Will is the best character ever and takes the 1st place spot. I LOVE HIM.

Huh. The ferrets had missed one. Well, I wasn't going to correct them. Will stood up. "Excuse me a second."then he left the kitchen. We both watched, quietly as Will appeared in the picture window in front of us. Declan looked up from his work. Without a word, will held up a hand and waited until Declan high fived him. For his part, Declan seemed slightly perplexed, then Will walked back into the kitchen and sat down. "Sorry, had to be done."

OMG😍 he's the cutest. Standards have been heightened.😍💗

The next few days it only escalated. It went from sack lunches to reusable lunch totes with our names embroidered on the side. 

Van complained about cold feet one morning and now we all had matching slippers,again with our names on them.

I feel like this is foreshadowing something😭

And the familiar always,*always* was an animal. 

I don't drink but that's hilarious and relatable. 😭

She nodded glumly,resting her chin in her hands. 

I scooped up the next batch of cookies onto the sheet. "Hot tea bad,got chocolate bad, or shot of tequila bad?" When she didn't answer right away,I added,"entire bottle of tequila bad?" 

Her smile was small,but it was there. "Tea I think."

Either way, by the end of the week, I realized I'd done a fair job memorizing her work schedule and picking up on her habits. For example, I'd realized that Lou had a sweet tooth. Was that why I was currently making cookies with the help of two ferrets?

The soft yellow of his shirt looking good against the deep Brown of his skin. if I had worn that shirt, I would look sickly. Some pale people could pull off yellow, I wasn't one of them.

Surprised, I sidestepped, trying to read her body language. Was she just desperate to hand off the fledgling? I would be the first to admit that I didn't always read humans well. Animals make sense. People... don't.
