I don't think this series is for me.

The characters are so one note. Ginny has something tragic going on, the sisters have the mystery or the business sense, the boyfriends have one characteristic and that's it. It just seems like they all have stuff happen but no one reacts to it in the long run. Tricia doesn't get scared, the Sheriff doesn't change her tune, Angelica doesn't change either.

And the tall of money and minimum wage with house repairs is such a downer. I just want a cozy mystery. I want a tamed down "Hot Fuzz" where everythjng seems fine until it's not. I don't want a real life explanation of a "book town." Because a book town isn't even a thing! The setting is so unrealistic.

Personally I didn't see the killer's identity before it was revealed, but I automatically lost interest. It just felt so left field.
