Angus, thongs and full-frontal snogging confessions of Georgia Nicolson
Reviews

Certainly dated, but still quite funny in a lot of places. I still prefer the movie, and I could see myself loving this book if I were still the age Georgia is. Cried laughing a few times

It was a cheesy cover that got lots of stares when I read it in public. I didn't care because I was having so much fun reading it.

cute, funny, & a quick read!

Charming and cute little story that made me laugh very hard.

*2.5

британский YA нормально, но не больше кстати, кино лучше

hilarious!

weird, offensive and bad writing.

I loved this! It brought me back to the time where you are beginning to look at boys and you overthink everything you do. Georgia is a super bad friend TBH, I am not the biggest fan of her. She is selfish and she needs kind of a reality check. But I hope when I get to read the other books, that she becomes a better friend. I still loved the book and had a great laugh.

funniest series. about halfway through the series right now and absolutely addicted

Actual rating: 3.5 This book was exactly what I needed for summer. Georgia was such a witty narrator, and she just made me enjoy reading the book so much. I admit, I have seen the movie, so the plot of this story wasn't new to me, but a lot of the book was different. Especially Robbie! But I love him so much. I definitely cannot wait to read the next one!

Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging is one of those books that I would not be able to read in public. Why? Well because I spent the majority of the book laughing so hard that tears were streaming out the corner of my eyes. Georgia Nicolson is fabulous! The perfect mixture of snarky and sweet, Georgia shines off the page and will capture the attention of anyone who cares to read about her insane life. Written in the form of Georgia's journal, this book is all stream of consciousness and 100% hilarious. We see into her thoughts on boys, her parents, and her circle of friends. Like all girls at the age of 14, most of Georgia's writing inspiration comes from finding where she fits in the world of relationships. When she was ruminating over her first kiss, and tried to test it by kissing her hand, I laughed out loud! I will fully admit that I remember doing that. Each word on the page just made me love Georgia more and more. I'm hooked. A "coming of age" story at it's heart, this is a perfect book for adolescent girls. Georgia is easy to connect with, and she goes through a lot of the same issues that they will be dealing with. I'm still not entirely sure whether this book would be considered MG or YA, although it does deal with a lot of topics that put it on that line. I think it is more the type of book that a parent would read first, then decide whether their child was ready for it! Let's be honest. I loved this book so much that I cannot even put my words into coherent sentences. Did you know that there are more? I just found that out! More Georgia? I can't wait! I recommend this book with all my heart. If you haven't yet read it, give it a try. Just be prepared to laugh until your sides hurt. You've been warned.

Sometimes I need a story/book that is an easy read and has a feel-good vibe. This book is just what I needed! Georgia Nicolson is a character that is equal parts snobby and silly with a case of low self-esteem thrown in making her relatable and laughable all at once. Though I dislike the "semi-shading"(for lack of a better word) of lesbians, this book is a very funny read.

There is something about this series that made me feel rebellious and cool when I first read it. Maybe it was that it talked about snogging on the cover, which no one in my class understood and it felt like a secret code word between me and my friends. I thought these books were hilarious, and definitely read them multiple times. Thus feeding into my obsession with life in England.
