I like it when Agatha investigates away from Carsely from time to time (except from the Cyprus adventure which I didn't enjoy at all), it gives Beaton the opportunity to introduce quite a few eccentric characters:) I was delighted to find out that James was away again in this instalment of the series and that Agatha was investigating with Sir Charles, fun fun fun!

Agatha in a new location with new characters and getting herself into new trouble equals good idea! I love the hint of real fairies mixed in with mysteries and murder in this one, although the resolution didn't quite make the mark for me this time. 

Still, the actual ending of the novel was so great it pulled it back up in the 4 star region for me. Totally worth it.
